Effects of "Palace Family Steak House" Theme on Brain: A Speculative Overview

Posted by Trott

From the mailbag:

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you that an endless loop of the
"palace family steakhouse theme" refrain has now taken
up residence in my right and left auditory cortexes,
from which locations it is slowly (and inexorably)
unspooling across my consciousness.

"...Na na NAAA na NA NA...NA na NA NA NA NAA
NAAAAAAAAA..."

I have no doubt that, operating from these strategic
points in my cerebellum, "the palace family steakhouse
theme" is proceeding -- like a computer virus -- to
colonize the rest of my brain, re-writing itself
across my existing memories, my language center...my
very consciousness itself.

And soon, I have no doubt, I shall be nothing but a
vacant shell of flesh, rocking back and forth,
muttering over and over again, "it's
understood....that the food's no good..."

Nevertheless, I regret nothing. It IS a catchy little
tune.

na na naaa na na na...na na naaa na na naaaa naaaaa...
na na naaa na na na...na na naaa na na naaaa naaaaa...
na na naaa na na na...na na naaa na na naaaa naaaaa...
na na naaa na na na...na na naaa na na naaaa naaaaa...

yr humble servant,
Ben Deily

Ben Deily should spend less time letting the "Palace Family Steakhouse" theme bounce around inside that cobweb laden skull of his and more time trying to sort out that gender identity crisis he seems to be suffering from these days as a recent picture of him seems to scream...
