No really: PorkFoodService.ComWith a Snapple jingle, a Bagel Radio jingle, and a Palace Family Steak House jingle all under my belt, you think I'd jump at a competition to rewrite a Chili's jingle. But no. It doesn't present much in the way of opportunities to rework it. There's no melody to be placed into a different context. I guess one could use Latin percussion and sing it in Spanish.
Of the original Chili's jingle, PFSH reader and fan Stephanie Brown says: "I hate that song more than most things I hate."

I hate that when you go to a karaoke bar and look through the song options, you always see the Chili's "Baby Back Ribs" song. Who picks that for karaoke? I mean, do people get up there and sing the "Roto Rooter" jingle?

Actually - I was misquoted. What I really said was - if that song was a car it would be a PT Cruiser... and Rich Trott would be behind the wheel, wearing stirrup pants and a puffy-paint kitten sweatshirt, eating ribs, and listening to Paula Cole. God - that sounds amazing!

Unlike with Garberville Bill, Google was helpful with stirrup pants. You're right; that is amazing.
