One of our many fine readers, Nick Edmunds, sent these photos from his trip to Taiwan. Obviously, if Taipei Wufeng Town is not a sister city with San Francisco, we need to get on that right away.
Actually, San Francisco and Taipei are sister cities already (http://tinyurl.com/ywlfrl), I think that pagoda-looking thing on Stow Lake in GG Park was a Taipei gift.
But the Noble Family Steak House wasn't in Taipei, it was in a small town in Taichung County and not too far from Taichung City. I'm not 100% sure which town, but the most likely one is Wufeng Town, as we were trying to visit the 921 Earthquake Memorial Museum, which was of course closed due to the typhoon. We went to Noble soon after, before passing through Taichung City on the way to Dajia Town, which is of course home to the largest Mazu pilgrimage in Taiwan.
I didn't see any evidence of t-shirts there, but it didn't occur to me to look. I will for sure the next time I'm in Wufeng Town. This might not be for a while, but I do want to see that earthquake museum.

That is great. Did they have a t-shirt?
