Heed The Party!

Posted by Trott

Here's what the SF Party Party has to say about our upcoming show on Thursday, October 26, at the Hotel Utah:
If you were the lucky recipient of a Steak Lapdance at their last gig, then you’ve already bought your ticket for this show. All you other folks, there’s no way you want to miss one of the SFPP’s officially-endorsed favorite bands. w/ The Slow Poisoner, Warren Teagarden, and Pr0nstar. Hotel Utah @ 9pm. $6. See you there.
Heed the SF Party Party!

Obligatory comment fodder: I just finished reading Huck Finn a few minutes ago. I will likely start Cider House Rules tomorrow. Also, went to celebrate a couple friends' birthdays tonight and was informed that I must become acquainted with something called The Venture Brothers.

Cider House Rules was my favorite John Irving book - and I read about 6 of his books. Hope you didn't see the movie first...

I never saw the movie, nor any other movie based on a John Irving book with the exception of bits and pieces here and there of The World According To Garp on cable television.

You hope I didn't see the movie because it will ruin the book or because it is a bad movie?

Not a bad movie in my opinion, but doesn't do the book justice.
